Haussmann’s Teak Block Benches are handcrafted in Thailand from solid farmed teak blocks. Choose a 36 x 12.5 x 20.5-inch bench or a 48 x 12 x 19-inch bench in Oak finish. Available size choices are shown above.
A solid teak bench with its own character
Use the bench in an entryway, at the foot of a bed, or as extra seating. Each solid teak block has its own grain. Both sizes have knock-down construction and require assembly. The 36-inch bench has an 18-inch seat height; the 48-inch bench has a 16-inch seat height.
Handcrafted solid teak
The material is solid farmed teak. Haussmann’s artisans in Thailand kiln-dry, shape, and hand-finish the wood. Grain, knots, natural checks, mineral streaks, and tool marks vary from piece to piece. Some areas may be smoothed or repaired with wood glue mixed with sawdust during finishing.
Oak finish
Oak is the finish color on this listing, not the wood species. Each bench is solid teak, hand-finished to show the natural grain. Finished shade varies from the photographs.

Care & Maintenance — how to look after this piece
The quality and transship were great product team damage on delivery. My contact at Etsy about it because I waited past two days to open it. They were not willing to talk to me about it.
great quality wood.
a great find - beautiful bench!
I love my bunch! I get tons of compliments on it and I couldn’t be happier. Super great quality, sturdy and beautiful.
Super easy to assemble (just 4 bolts), and it is sturdy and beautiful. Already have had several people compliment it.
The description of the bench and assembly was very clear and accurate. I knew the heavy weight would be a challenge for one old woman to deal with alone and that a socket wrench purchase was in the offing, but I did it!! I love the uniqueness it adds next to my front walkway. I have no regrets.
This bench is a work of art. The quality is superb. In fact we were stunned that for such a reasonable price it was as beautiful and high quality as we’ve ever seen.
I would buy from you again! Thank u

Exactly what I was hoping for
Beautiful product, delivered earlier than anticipated.
Love the bench, very sturdy!
Very, very fast delivery to my house. The tables are very strong and I hope to buy more in the near future as I use them in my basement. But once again, your service is very FAST as I have ordered from you before.
The bench is beautiful and comfortable. Unfortunately, teak oil came off from the legs in the shower and left dark spots on my white grout. After a week of showers, the darkness lightened and you can barely see anything but I am nervous about putting it back in the shower.
