The stool is handcrafted in Thailand from solid teak, with a slatted seat and separate supporting frame. It is not a single carved wood block.
Teak Oil finish and care
Teak Oil highlights the natural teak grain. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry. Refresh with pure teak oil when the surface looks dry. Do not use Osmo on teak-oiled pieces. Read our wood finish and care guide.

Yes. The seat and frame are solid teak, finished with Teak Oil. The slatted construction is shown in the product photographs.
How should I care for it after use?
Wipe it clean and dry. Re-oil with pure teak oil when needed. Do not use Osmo on the Teak Oil finish.

The quality and transship were great product team damage on delivery. My contact at Etsy about it because I waited past two days to open it. They were not willing to talk to me about it.

The bench is beautiful and comfortable. Unfortunately, teak oil came off from the legs in the shower and left dark spots on my white grout. After a week of showers, the darkness lightened and you can barely see anything but I am nervous about putting it back in the shower.
